I’ve been inspecting homes for over 19 years with 15,000 plus completed inspections. Previous to that I have over 25 years construction experience. My earliest experiences were with my Dad who fixed and flipped homes in the early 60's here in the Denver metro area. What 10 year old boy wouldn't love being in the demolition business? I sure did enjoy it. Dad taught me what to look for, wood rot, unsafe wiring, evidence of leaking plumbing, when there are cracks in the foundation, and so many more items throughout a home, then how to CORRECTLY rebuild the home in a SAFE and Sanitary method. He taught me that codes were the bare minimums and he always went above and beyond those. Guess that rubbed off on me more than I thought back then. I inspect for SAFE and SANITARY, not just that bare minimum of codes.
Also working and enjoying everything from volunteering in my youngest daughter’s kindergarten class, helping her and her class mates build simple bird houses, napkin holders, boats, cars and trucks to adhering to some of the strictest, most complicated, highly regulated and inspected electrical, instrumentation and process controls, both installing and calibrating, at Fort St Vrain Nuclear power plant just north of Denver. I have held or hold licenses in Electrical, Plumbing, as a B & C Contractor, HVAC, Instrumentation, worked in concrete, foundations, flat work, in carpentry, framing, siding, roofing, with experience in all those areas I believe I am well rounded in helping you to know the true condition of your prospective new home.
I’ve also built, remodeled, renovated and fixed and flipped over 250 homes. My knowledge, education and experience uniquely qualifies me to help you better understand the intimate workings of your new home.
Every home that I inspect I look at as a Castle, Your Castle. I will inspect your castle as if it was one of my son's or daughter's castles to be and yes she is grown up and long past kindergarten now and soon to be a buyer like yourself.
I have been inspecting for some families now into the third generation. From Grandma and Grandpa to Mom and Dad and now Mom and Dad’s children are starting to buy their first homes.
I have always held myself to the highest standards through continuing education, being honest, never cutting corners, providing the best possible service to my Clients.
That's why I have become a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI).
Inspections are conducted in accordance with NACHI's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. They are available at www.NACHI.org
